AMEX Stadium - Premier League

Brighton welcome Nuno Santos' Wolves to the South Coast this weekend, with Chris Hughton's side looking to extend their unbeaten run.

Past Meetings

The last time these two sides met was as part of the 2016-17 season, when they were both still in the Championship, with Brighton winning home and away against Wolves.

Team News

Brighton should be able to name striker Glenn Murray, after he was withdrawn with concussion in their last game, and the club will monitor his this week.

Midfield pair Davy Propper and Pascal Gross are both expected to miss out due to injury.

Santo is expected to have a fully fit squad to pick from ahead of this clash, butt he has to decide whether to change his starting XI for the first time this season.

Brighton v Wolves Preview and Predictions

The Seagulls picked up an impressive point on the road last weekend, winning 1-0 away at Newcastle, to hand them back to back Premier League wins for the first time this season.

Home form has been key for Hughton's side this season, with just one league defeat at the AMEX Stadium this season, against Tottennham.

Wolves' 2-0 loss at home to Watford last weekend was only their second defeat during their largely impressive return to the top flight.

Given the relatively strong overall form for both sides, a draw looks to be good shout as a low risk option ahead of this game, priced at 21/10.

Brighton have won their last two games by a 1-0 score line, and Wolves have not scored more than one goal on the road in league action for the whole season so far.

With that in mind, an under 2.5 total goals scored bet is worth a punt in this game, available at 8/13.

Recommended Bets

A 1-1 draw at 11/2

There is little to choose between the irresistible force of Santo's developing side and the organised pragmatism of Brighton, under Hughton, and that should be the case this weekend. A draw will show a reaction from Wolves, and keep Brighton's unbeaten run going.

Glenn Murray to score first at 9/2

Murray will be given every opportunity to be fit in time for this game, and the club have indicated that he should be fit in time to play, allowing him to continue his impressive early season form. The veteran striker has netted five Premier League goals so far this season.
