Stamford Bridge - Premier League

Chelsea continue their push for a top four finish on Wednesday night, as they welcome relegation threatened Huddersfield to Stamford Bridge.

Past Meetings

Chelsea won 3-1 in West Yorkshire earlier this season, with Tiemoue Bakayoko, Pedro and Willian all scoring for the visitors. Huddersfield last beat Chelsea in the 1999-200 League Cup, winning 1-0 in West London, thanks to a Kenny Monks goal.

Team News

Alvaro Morata and David Luiz are both back in light training, but are unlikely to be risked, with an FA Cup final on the horizon for Chelsea at the end of the month.

Danny Drinkwater and Ethan Ampadu are ruled out for the rest of the campaign.

Huddersfield will be without key defensive duo Chris Lowe and Elias Kachunga, who are both sidelined through injury for the away side. Fellow defender Michael Hefele and midfielder Danny Williams will be out of action until next season.

Chelsea v Huddersfield Preview and Predicitons

The Blues are sensing blood as they chase down Tottenham and Liverpool in the race for the top four, and a win against Huddersfield would put them level on points with Jurgen Klopp's side ahead of the final weekend of the season.

Tottenham also have a game in hand on Liverpool, and they face Newcastle on Wednesday night.

Huddersfield boosted their chances of avoiding the drop last weekend with a goal less draw against Manchester City, bu they are still just three points away from the relegation.

Given what is at stake for Antonio Conte's team, they will go all out for a win, priced at 2/11, and leave Huddersfield waiting until the final day to know their fate.

Chelsea's key win over Liverpool last weekend will have boosted their confidence, and they are unbeaten in their last six games in league and FA Cup action.

Whilst their return of ten goals scored during that run of games, he should win this one with something to spare, and an over 2.5 total goals scored bet comes in at 8/15.

Olivier Giroud to score first at 7/2

French international Giroud is starting to show some real form, following his January move to Chelsea. The front man has netted four goals in his last five games ahead of his clash, and he will lead he line again on Wednesday night.
