Crystal Palace v Fulham Predictions, Betting Tips and Preview
January 31, 2019
Selhurst Park - Premier League
Relegation threatened Fulham head across to South London this weekend to take on Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Palace won 2-0 away at Craven Cottage in their first game of the season, with Jeffrey Schlupp and Wilfried Zaha scoring for the away side that day.
Fulham's last win over Palace came back in the 2013-14 Premier League season.
Palace will be without talisman Zaha, after scored and was then sent off for a second yellow card in their midweek draw at Southampton. Pape Souare is still sidelined with long term injuries.
Fulham are confident that Andre Schurrle and Joe Bryan will shake off minor knock in time to play, with Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa back in full training. Aboubakar Kamara could be included after serving an internal club suspension, but Alfie Mawson is ruled out.
Crystal Palace v Fulham Predictions and Preview
Palace should have beaten Southampton in midweek, and Hodgson will be frustrated at his side's inability ti hold onto a lead in an important game. At home the Eagles have looked solid, with just one defeat - to Chelsea - in their last seven games at Selhurst Park in league and cup action.
Fulham fought back from two goals down at home to Brighton in their last game, with Claudio Ranieir's side pulling off a 4-2 win at full time. That performance will have really boosted confidence in his squad ahead of this London derby match, and they have won two of their last five games, as they look to negotiate their way out of the relegation zone.
Fulham are in greater need of the points, with Palace looking well placed for a mid table finish, and Ranieiri's men should have enough to snatch a draw - priced at 12/5.
This may not be one for the neutral, but it could well be a key game in the relegation shake come the end of the season. Goals have been flowing in recent weeks, but with no Zaha for the hosts and Fulham valuing points over style at this stage of the season - an over 2.5 total goals scored bet is at 4/5.
A 1-1 draw at 6/1
The draw will be of more benefit to the visitors, as Palace are looked in a block of mid table congestion. The Cottagers know that they need to collect points from sides close to them in the table if they are to stand any chance of Premier League survival.
Aleksandar Mitrovic to score anytime at 2/1
Serbian international Mitrovic was sensational in the win over Brighton, netting twice in a crazy second half. He has 13 goals already this season, and if he can keep that form going, Fulham have a real chance of staying up.
