Everton returned to winning was with victory over League Two side Lincoln, however their recent form will be a concern for Silva, as they head into 2019. The Blues have picked up just one win, away at Burnley, in their last seven Premier League games, which has seen them slip down to 11th in the table.

The Cherries, in 12th position, but only goal difference separates the two teams ahead of this weekend, with the visitors without a win in their last three league appearances. Their away form is even more of a concern, as they prepare to head to Merseyside, with six straight defeats on the road, ahead of this weekend.

Despite neither side being any real sort of form, Everton just have the edge, and they should have enough to pick up a much needed win - priced at 8/11. This tie might not be one for the neutral fan, but there is still value available, on a goals scored bet. Everton have not scored more than two goals at home in their last five games at Goodison Park - and an under 2.5 total goals scored bet is at .6/5
