Goodison Park - Premier League

An out of form Everton welcome West Brom to Merseyside this weekend, hoping to end a run of six games without a win in all competitions.

Past Meetings

These two sides sides played out a 0-0 draw on Boxing Day at The Hawthorns.

Prior to that, Everton had won the previous two Premier League meetings between the pair, with West Brom's last win over The Blues coming in February 2016.

Team News

Everton defender Michael Keane will have a late fitness test on a foot injury ahead of this game, but fellow defender Leighton Baines is still out with a calf problem.

Seamus Coleman, Ramiro Funes Mori and Martin Stekelenburg are all still sidelined.

West Brom boss Alan Pardew has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Goodison Park, with midfield duo James Morrison and Nacer Chadli both still out with long term injuries.

Everton v West Brom Preview and Predictions

Sam Allardyce's side are in a real rut of form at the moment, without a win in their last six games in domestic action, and looking low on confidence.

The defensive organisation that the former Bolton Wanderers boss brought in at the start of his tenure has been breached heavily in recent weeks, with defeats to Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham.

West Brom have shown some positive signs in recent weeks, with back to back wins in league and FA Cup action ahead of this game, but they still face a long fight against relegation.

Given The Baggies' slight upturn in form, and Everton's desperation for points, a relatively safe bet for this game looks to be a draw - priced at 11/5.

Goals have certainly not been flying in for either side in the last few weeks, with Everton scoring just once in their last five Premier League matches and West Brom netting five in their last five in the league.

With that in mind, this one should be a low scorer, with a under 2.5 goals bet priced at 4/9.

Recommended Bets

A 1-1 draw priced at 5/1

Both sides are in real need of points and a boost in morale as they look to get themselves back on track in 2018, but neither will want to give too much away. It is likely to be tense and both sides will probably cancel each other out.

Salomon Rondon to score anytime at 5/2

Venezuelan striker Rondon has been in good recent form for the West Midlands side, scoring two goals i his last five appearances. He is also joint top scorer for the club this season, alongside Jay Rodriguez.
