Fulham v Everton Predictions, Betting Tips and Previews
April 09, 2019
Craven Cottage - Premier League
Relegated Fulham host Marco Silva's Everton this weekend, with the Cottagers only playing for pride between now and the end of the season.
Silva's side won the reverse fixture 3-0 at Goodison Park, back in September, with Gylfi Sigurdsson (2) and Cenk Tosun on the score sheet.
The Blues are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League meetings with the West London side.
Fulham have no fresh injury news ahead of the visit of Everton to Craven Cottage, with Alfie Mawson and Marcus Bettinelli both still sidelined.
The visitors will check on defender Michael Keane, who withdrew from the starting line up face Arsenal with a virus, but he should be fit to play. Fellow defender Yerry Mina is ruled out with a thigh injury.
Fulham v Everton Preview and Predictions
Scott Parker's side had their relegation confirmed in their last game, a 4-1 loss away at Watford, and Parker will have a task on his hands to motivate the players for this tie. They host Everton on the back of a nine game losing streak, with no win at home since January 29th, when they beat Brighton 4-2.
The Toffees head into this game full of confidence after an excellent showing in their 1-0 win over Arsenal last weekend, which follows up from a win at home to Chelsea and three points at West Ham. Nine points from nine has pushed them back into the running for a seventh place finish, as they trail Leicester by just a single point.
A motivated Everton side should have enough to inflict another punishing loss on Fulham, and an away victory comes in at 3/4.
Despite their recent run of form, the visitors have not been flush with goals, winning by a one or two goal margin in their last three games - and with that in mind, an Everton win with under 3.5 total goals scored is at 3/2.
Everton to win 2-0 at 17/2
Silva's side need to maintain their positive momentum if they are to finish the season strongly, and get into the remaining Europa League spot by the end of 2018-19. That means that three points are a must on their trip to Craven Cottage.
Gylfi Sigurdsson to score anytime at 6/5
The Icelandic international is in strong recent form with three goals in his last six appearances for Everton. He is consistently a threat from set pieces, and he was the key man when these two sides met earlier in the campaign.
