Anfield - Premier League
Premier League leaders Liverpool host in form Leicester City this weekend - in a big test of their Premier League title credentials.
Liverpool won 2-1 away in Premier League action against the Foxes last season, but drew 1-1 at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp's side are unbeaten in their last four Premier League meetings with the East Midlands side.
First choice Liverpool goal keeper Alisson has returned to training following a hamstring injury, but the Brazilian international is not expected to return to first team action just yet - with Adrian continuing to deputise.
Leicester's main concern is over midfielder James Maddison, after he missed last weekend's win at home to Newcastle with an ankle injury - but he is expected to be fit in time for the trip to Merseyside.
Liverpool v Leicester City Preview and Predictions
Liverpool have opened up a five point leader on title rivals Manchester City in recent weeks, with Klopp's side unbeaten in domestic action so far in the 2019-20 campaign. They did get a scare away at Sheffield United last weekend, and needed to work hard in the second half at Bramall Lane to scrap out a 1-0 win over Chris Wilder's Blades.
Leicester have stepped up a few gears themselves in recent weeks, with an impressive 2-1 win away at Champions League rivals Tottenham followed by a 5-0 mauling of the Magpies last time out. Brendan Rodgers will return to his former club confident that his Foxes side can get a result and boost their own hopes of European qualification at the end of this season.
Despite Liverpool's excellent start to the season, there is a strong feeling that Leicester can be the first side to take points off them in league action this season - with a draw priced at 15/4. Both teams have plenty of goals in their ranks, with Leicester scoring seven goals in their last two league games, and Liverpool netting six in their last three in the Premier League. With that in mind, a BTTS bet is available at 8/11.
A 1-1 draw at 9/1
Both teams are in excellent form coming into this game, and neither will want to lose the momentum they have built up in recent weeks. That is likely to be a case of them cancelling each other out, in what should be an entertaining game.
Jamie Vardy to score anytime at 7/4
Vardy is bang in form at the moment, with five goals so far in the Premier League this season, including two in last weekend's win over Steve Bruce's Magpies. the former England international also has a strong record against the Reds, with five goals in his last four games against them.
