Liverpool v Newcastle Preview and Predictions
Liverpool are on an excellent recent run of form, losing just one of their last five Premier League games, and they are undefeated at Anfield all season in the league.
Newcastle should have enough quality to avoid relegation in the long run, but they have won just one of their last six Premier League games ahead of the trip to Merseyside. The Magpies are without an away win since New Years' Day - against Stoke City.
Liverpool's recent form and top four aspirations mean that they are unlikely to spare any hospitality to their former boss, and despite defensive issues still nagging away at them, they should win this comfortably - with a home win at 2/9.
The Reds have also been in excellent goal scoring form of late, with an impressive goal return of 16 in their lat five games ahead of this weekend, and with that i mind an over 2.5 goals bet looks a good option at 15/8.
Liverpool to win 3-1 at 11/1
Jurgen Klopp looks to have his side in excellent shape, in a strong position to finish in the top four and progressing well in the Champions League, they should find little issue with a Newcastle side almost safe from the drop.
Mo Salah to score first at 5/2
Egyptian international Salah has been the star of the show for Liverpool this season, as he continues to smash goal scoring records in 2017-18. He has 23 Premier League goals so far and he shows little sign of slowing down with four goals in his last four league appearances.
