Etihad Stadium - Premier League
Manchester City welcome Wolves to the Etihad Stadium, looking for a win to keep the Premier League title pressure on Liverpool.
Manchester City beat Wolves 3-0 at home last season, but Pep Guardiola's side drew 1-1 away at Molineux.
City are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions against the West Midlands side.
Guardiola has no new injury concerns ahead of the weekend visit of Nuno Santo's side, with Leroy Sane, John Stones and Aymeric Laporte all still out of action for the hosts. Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero are both set to return to the starting line up after being rested against Everton last weekend, with Benjamin Mendy and David Silva also potentially coming back in.
Key player Diogo Jota is expected to miss out again this weekend, after picking up a ankle injury, with Pedro Neto set to continue to start in attack in his place.
Manchester City v Wolves Preview and Predictions
Manchester City are looking to increase the pressure on Liverpool in the Premier League title place, after dropping points against Tottenham and Norwich City so far this season. Guardiola will accept nothing less than all three points this weekend, as he looks to shake off some of the inconsistencies that have disrupted them in league action in 2019-20.
Wolves picked up their first Premier League win of the season, beating fellow strugglers Watford 2-0 at Molineux last weekend, moving up to 14th in the table in the process. Santo's side have found it difficult to balance the early rounds of Europa League qualification against Premier League commitments, and it is set to be another tough weekend for them in Manchester.
A City win looks to get almost a given here, but a City to win both halves option comes in at at an interesting price of 24/25. City have responded to that set back of losing at Norwich City with force, winning 8-0 at home to Watford, and then winning 3-1 away at Everton both results demonstrating their goal scoring prowess. With that in mind, Cit y should have their scoring boots on - with an over 2.5 total goals scored bet available at 4/11.
Manchester City to win 3-0 at 13/2
City look to be on a roll as they look to chase down Liverpool, and against a Wolves side that is still finding its feet in the Premier League should be a straightforward win for the hosts.
Sergio Aguero to score anytime at 1/2
Aguero is the leading goal scorer in the Premier League so far this season, with eight goals to his name already, and his form will be a real concern for Wolves.
