Manchester United v Swansea Predictions, Betting Tips and Previews
March 27, 2018
Old Trafford - Premier League
Jose Mourinho's Manchester United host Swansea this weekend, and the home side will be looking to collect a routine win to continue their top four push.
Past Meetings
United have beaten Swansea in league and cup action in South Wales already this season, 4-0 and 2-0 respectively, and they are unbeaten in their last five games against the Swans.
Swansea's last win over United came back in 2015, with Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew scoring in a 2-1 victory.
Team News
Manchester United could be boosted by the returns of Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo, who are both back in training following hamstring injuries. However Paul Pogba, Daley Blind, Anthony Martial and Phil Jones are all set to miss out through injury for the Red Devils.
Jordan Ayew is missing for the visitors, as he is two games into a three match ban for his red card against Huddersfield.
Angel Rangel and Renato Sanches are both back in training following injury, but the pair are low on match fitness. Leroy Fer and Wilfried Bony are both ruled out for the rest of the season.
Manchester United v Swansea Preview and Predictions
United have conceded to their great rivals Manchester City in the title race long ago, but Mourinho is determined to finish as high as possible and secure a top four spot.
Generally his side have been efficient at home this season, only losing twice at Old Trafford all season - to City in the league and to Sevilla in the Champions League.
Swansea have improved significantly under their new boss Carlos Carvalhal, and they do look set to avoid the relegation trap door, however they are unlikely to pick up any points here.
A fairly straightforward United win looks to be on the cards, with all three points for the hosts priced at 1/5.
Mourinho's side have not been particularly effective in defence in recent weeks, conceding seven goals in their last nine games, and a both teams to score bet is priced at 13/8.

United look set to clinch second place in the Premier League this season, however Mourinho will not ease off his players between now and the end of the season. He has been outspoken on both their levels of quality and consistency this month, and he will be using that to spur them on.
Romelu Lukaku to score first at 11/4
Lukaku is leading the way in terms of goal scoring 25 goals this season in all competitions so far in 2017-18. He is also bang in form, with four goals in his last five games - and the Belgian international has already scored against Swansea already this season.
