Both sides are likely to have a fully fit squads to pick from for this one, with a number of players returning from long term injuries for the hosts.
Arsenal welcomed back Danny Welbeck, Laurent Koscielny and Hector Bellerin to their match day squad for Sunday’s win over Manchester United, and all three could start against the Saints.
The only really concern for Arsene Wenger is over Granit Xhaka, who played through the pain of an ankle injury against United, and could be rested on Wednesday.
Spanish pair Lucas Perez and Santi Cazorla are both out for the season through injury.
Southampton are without a number of first team players for the remainder of the campaign, with Virgil van Dijk, Charlie Austin, Alex McCarthy and Matt Targett all out until next season.

Arsenal’s quest to secure a top four finish received a boost with the win over United, and Wenger’s side look set to push the qualification race right to the last day of the season. Victory over the Saints would see them leapfrog the Red Devils, and move into fifth place, with three games remaining.
The penny looks to be dropping with the Arsenal players that it is very much now or never, to secure Champions League football for next year, and that should ensure three points in this on, with a home win at 11/10.
Southampton picked a hard earned point at Liverpool at the weekend, proving that Claude Puel will not be letting his side take it easy for the rest of the season, but Arsenal have a real point to prove.
