Manchester City head to Southampton for their final game of 2018, with Pep Guardiola's side in dire need of a positive result to end the year.

City will be without England international Fabian Delph, as he starts a three game ban following his red card against Leicester City, in their last game.
Gabriel Jesus should recover from a minor injury in time to play, but fellow Brazilian international Fernandinho, and club captain Vincent Kompany are both sidelined.

Southampton threw away a lead in their last game, at home to West Ham, losing 2-1 to Manuel Pellegrini's side, ending a run of back to back wins for them over the festive period.
They face a tough ask against a City side that is fighting to remain in the title race, and they would have benefited from the confidence boost of holding on against The Hammers.
City trail league leaders Liverpool by seven points following successive losses to Crystal Palace and Leicester in their last two games and Guardiola needs a reaction from his players.
They have a chance to challenge Liverpool directly in the game that follows this tie, but they need points on the board on the south coast - and an away win is available at 3/10.
Southampton have not been great defensively in recent games, conceding nine goals in their last five games, and if City are in the mood, they should be goals in this one - with an over 2.5 total goals scored priced at 8/15.
