New Stoke boss Paul Lambert will be looking to kick off life with the club with a home win over Huddersfield, days after losing at Old Trafford.
These two drew 1-1 on Boxing Day at The John Smiths Stadium, with with Ramadan Sobhi's late goal cancelling out Tom Ince's opener.
The two meetings prior to that also both ended as draws, with Huddersfield winning the three games before that and Stoke's last win over the West Yorkshire club coming back in 1996.
Stoke will be boosted by the return to fitness of three of their first team defenders, with Bruno Martins Indi, Erik Pieters and captain Ryan Shawcross all set to be fit to play this weekend.
However former England international Glen Johnson is still out with a foot injury.
Huddersfield boss David Wagner is not quite as assured of key returns, with three of his squad facing late fitness tests ahead of this clash. Colin Quaner, Martin Cranie and Chris Lowe will all be assessed ahead of kick off on Saturday.
Elias Kachunga and Jon Stankovic are both still long term absentees.
Stoke City v Huddersfield Preview and Predictions
Stoke will be hoping the positivity of a new man in charge will give them confidence against Huddersfield, with no league win in their last four games finally seeing off former manager Mark Hughes.
Lambert does have a tough task on his hands to keep the club up, but against a Huddersfield side that have not won in the league i their last five games, he will be hopeful.
A new boss normally means a bit of a swing for the club, and that should be enough to secure Stoke a vital win at the weekend - currently priced at 21/20.
A win is all that is needed here, however pretty the performance is, and it is likely to be a gritty low scorer as Lambert looks to stabilise things at the club, and an under 2.5 goals bet is priced at 3/5.
Stoke City to win 1-0 at 11/2
Lambert knows he needs to inject some much needed confidence into his new players, and a home clash against a drifting Huddersfield side gives him an ideal opportunity to get things going.
Ramadan Sobhi to score first at 7/1
Sobhi was the key man for Stoke when these two sides met a few weeks ago, and he has four Premier League goals already this season - joint top with Eric Choupo-Moting and Xherdan Shaqiri.
