Bet365 Stadium - Premier League
Pep Guardiola's side travel to Stoke on Monday night looking to step another step closer to the Premier League title against the struggling Potters.
Manchester City hammered Stoke 7-2 when these two sides met at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season, with six different scorers for City that day.
Stoke's last win over City came back in 2015, with a 2-0 home victory through two goals from Marko Arnautovic.
City will give fitness tests to midfield pair Fernandinho and Raheem Sterling ahead of this game, as both players continue their recoveries from hamstring injuries. If they do miss out, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva are likely to continue in midfield.
Bernard Mendy and Fabian Delph are both still out of action, meaning that either Danilo or Alexander Zinchenko will deputise at left back.
Stephen Ireland could be in line for a return against his former club. The midfielder as had an injury ravaged 18 months but his current setback is only minor, and he could start against the club with which he made his name.
Lee Grant and Mame Biram Diouf are both still sidelined with injuries.
Stoke City v Manchester City Preview and Predictions
Stoke have steadied themselves since the appointment of Paul Lambert as their new boss in January, with just two defeats in his seven games, and an unbeaten record at home.
They remain in the relegation zone, in 19th, but there is a sense that things are moving in the right direction under the former Aston Villa boss.
Despite the improvements made at Stoke, their visitors on Monday night are unlikely to spare any mercy for their situation, as City look to march on to the title.
Guardiola's side have still on lost one game in the Premier League this season, and they continue to move through the gears, they should win here - priced at 2/9.
Stoke will make life difficult, far more so than they did earlier in the season, and City will have to practice patience to secure the three points, and an over 2.5 goals bet is at 1/2.
Manchester City to win 2-1 at 9/1
City are showing no signs of slowing down, as Guardiola chases his first league title in England, and even against a Stoke side on an upward curve, they should get over the line. Stoke have a goal threat in their ranks, and they may find some joy up against a City side that has conceded twice against Basel in midweek.
Bernardo Silva to score first at 8/1
With all of City's array of attacking talent, each player seems to take a turn at being the most in form, and currently it is Portuguese international Silva. The midfielder has seven goals so far this season, including his first ever City goal against Stoke in October, and he has two goals in his last three games.
