West Brom v Chelsea Preview and Predictions
Chelsea trail rivals Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham in the Premier League title race this season, but a morale boosting 1-0 win at home to United before the international break extended their unbeaten Premier League run to three games.
There have been issues with consistency with Conte's side this season, but they have mainly been in Europe, and domestically they look well placed to remain in the chasing pack.
West Brom are in a dreadful run of recent form, with Pulis' position under increasing pressure as results continue to go against him. The Baggies are without a win in the last 10 games across League and Cup action, with their only wins in the Premier League this season coming on the opening two weekends.
Chelsea look in ruthless form at the moment, and they should stretch that run to 11 games, with an away win priced at 8/13.
West Brom, who are usually so solid in defence, have picked up just one clean sheet in that poor run and with the attackers available to Chelsea, they could be in for a long afternoon on Saturday.
Goals are a virtual certainty in this game, with an over 2.5 goals bet priced at 21/20.
Chelsea to win 2-1 at 15/2
West Brom are desperate to turn their form around, and they will give it a real go against Conte's side and they could get a goal against a Blues defence that is not fully 100%. However Chelsea will be aware that any slip up will allow for the sides above them in the table to move away from them.
Alvaro Morata to score first at 3/1
Morata was the hero with the winning goals against Manchester United in Chelsea's last game, and he will be looking to add to his tally of seven Premier League goals this season. The Spanish international has pace and a real aerial threat that will cause problems for the home side.
