- Grant Whittington

London Stadium - Premier League

Relegation battling Stoke City head to West Ham this weekend, looking to keep their flickering survival hopes alive with a victory.

Past Meetings

West Ham won 3-0 at the BET365 Stadium earlier this season, with Mark Noble, Diafra Sakho and former Stoke player Marko Arnautovic all on target.

Stoke's last win over The Hammers came back in the 2015-16 season, with Gianelli Imbula and Mame Diouf on target in a 2-1 victory.

Team News

Charlie Adam is out for the visitors as he serves the final game of a three match ban, following a red card against Everton.

Striker Eric Chupo-Moting is not yet fit enough for a first team return, and Lee Grant and Kostas Stafylidis are both still sidelined for Paul Lambert's team.

West Ham have a growing injury, and David Moyes will be down to his bare bones for this game, with seven players ruled out through injury.

Javier Hernandez is back inaction following an illness, but Michail Antonio, Manuel Lanzini, James Collins, Winston Reid, Sam Byram, Pedro Obiang and Andy Carroll are all out.

West Ham v Stoke Preview and Predictions

The Hammers look to have done enough to seal their Premier League status for next season with some good recent results, wins over Watford, Southampton and a draw against Chelsea.

Stoke look to be down already, with now win their last ten games, despite the introduction of Lambert as boss, and they are unlikely to get too much of a helping hand from a pragmatic West Ham side at home.

Two wins, a draw and one defeat in their last four home games makes for a fairly solid record at the London Stadium, and Moyes's side should have just enough to win it, with a home win at evens.

Four goals in their last two games shows that West Ham are on the right track in terms of goal scoring at the moment, and a West Ham win with a total over 2.5 goals scored is at 9/4.

Recommended Bets

West Ham to win 3-1 at 20/1

Moyes' team look to be in good shape, albeit too late to challenge for a Europa League spot, but they are difficult to beat at home and given recent controversies with their home supporters they will want another win to improve relations.

Marko Arnautovic to score anytime at 7/5

Arnautovic scored against his old club earlier this season, and he netted against his former boss Mark Hughes - now at Southampton - and clearly enjoyed it. He is in strong form in 2017-18, scoring nine goals so far this season, and he will be keen to make double figures before the end of the campaign.
